August 23 Saturday

Beautiful sunny about 80 degrees here in beautiful Bainbridge Island, WA.
Just returned yesterday from mindboggling fishing trip to Sund's Resort, Malcolm Island, Canada. Float plane in, guided fishing twice a day, never left without a drink in your hand, gourmet chef constantly pushing out melt-in-your-mouth appetizers and meals. The lodgings were beautiful log cabins. Maximum 24 people allowed total. Catered to at every turn. Beautiful college girls and boys from Canada were the staff. Scott Sund the perfect host. Gorgeous, beautiful, best service ever.
Fishing the pristine waters for salmon and halibut. I caught a 13 pound Chinook. Joni caught a Tyee (over 30 pounds) Alex's mom caught a Tyee. Shirley (Ales's mom) won the largest catch.
Tom caught one but it popped off at the net. Big one too. Probably 20-something pound salmon. Flew back into Poulsbo dock.
